Kaizer Chiefs confirm belated red card on Monday morning
Better late than never. Kaizer Chiefs have announced a midfielder's red card a day after the AmaZulu draw.
Kaizer Chiefs fans who adore Lehlogonolo Matlou will have to wait for two more matches before watching the lanky midfielder. Matlou suffered a rather embarrassing straight red card against AmaZulu in the MTN8 last Sunday.

MTN8: KAIZER CHIEFS 1-1 AMAZULU
As The South African reported on Sunday, Arthur Zwane’s Amakhosi were left disappointed after managing a 1-1 draw with Usuthu at Soccer City.
The visitors went ahead in the first half through Gabadinho Mhango, before substitute Keagan Dolly found the equaliser just after the hour mark.
Usuthu walked away the happier side with an away goal advantage when the two sides meet in the second leg later this month.

AMAKHOSI CONFIRM MATLOU RED CARD
Following the referee’s final whistle, the official was suddenly spotted showing Matlou, who was an unused substitute, a straight red card.
Chiefs did not post an update on the incident until Monday morning. Asked why the club made the post a day later, the club’s social media said the red card was confirmed after the club received the match report from the match commissioner.
