Khalid Parker: Cape Town businessman KILLED in Landsdowne
The Western Cape SAPS have appealed for anyone with information on Khalid Parker’s death to contact the investigating officer or crime stop.
The circumstances leading up to the death of Cape Town businessman Khalid Parker are being investigated.
Parker was killed while walking across the road
The 40-year-old was killed on Imam Haroon Street, Lansdowne at around 10:00 on the morning of Friday, 9 September. Reports by the SAPS revealed that Parker was walking across the road when he was attacked by three unknown suspects.
Western Cape SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said that Parker sustained a gunshot wound to his head and was declared deceased at the scene.
“The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his head and was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel,”
said Twigg.
SAPS have appealed for anyone with information to contact them
Tigg stated that the suspects fled the scene and the motive for the attack has not been established. A case of murder has been opened, reports IOL. SAPS has made calls for anyone with information on the incident to contact the investigating officer Detective Sergeant Amin Qolo on 073 018 1002 or Crime Stop on 0860 010 111.

Previously, it was reported that friends, family, and well-wishers of Ben Tuzee have paid tribute to the 51-year-old this week, after he was killed during a horrific hijacking incident in Philippi. The Cape Town local was the co-owner of Dixies Bar and Restaurant near Simon’s Town.
After selling a TV on Facebook Marketplace, Mr. Tuzee went to deliver the item on Tuesday. However, the thriving business owner ended up in the wrong Cape Town neighbourhood. Subsequently, he was attacked by an opportunistic thug – while still in possession of the television set.
The victim was stabbed multiple times. His niece was also in the car, and although she was hit by a rock, her life was spared. It’s understood Ben briefly fought off the hijacking suspects, despite his many injuries, sparing the younger girl’s life in the process. Read the full story here.
