Viewers have once again threatened the writers of Skeem Saam to put an end to Prehasa's heartbreak or else they bounce. Khwezi needs a plan.

‘Khwezi is unnecessary’ – Viewers on Prehasa petition

Skeem Saam viewers are gatvol with the writers of SABC 1’s educational drama after Lehasa Maphosa (played by Cedric Fourie) was forced to pay lobola for his pregnant baby mama, Khwezi Gasela (played by Samukele Mkhize).

The viewers are calling on the writers to stop putting their favourite couple through pain and suffering and allow them the happiness that they deserve.

KHWEZI MUST GO!

The petition that has garnered 61 signatures reads, “As Skeem Saam viewers, we feel that the Prehasa/Khwezi triangle has been overdone by many shows and we are tired of seeing it.

For the first time we have a couple we believe in and have fallen in love with as a country. That couple being Prehasa. The direction that the writers have taken by forcing the Khwezikazi character down our throats is very upsetting to us and we feel our opinions on twitter as viewers are not taken to account.

Numerous Facebook fan pages, groups and twitter pages have been started on behalf of Prehasa. We feel Khwezi is unnecessary and feel either her storyline must change, be removed from the show or we will stop watching the show.

“Some viewers have already stopped watching since her return and that should be taken seriously. We have started this petition to get our point across loud and clear before you lose more viewers because of her. Prehasa is the main reason for the high viewership,” said the viewer.

LEHASA DOES NOT LOVE PRETTY

Some viewers have also expressed their disappointment at how Lehasa has been treating Pretty with some stating that he does not love her, he is just pretending.

On Thursday’s episode (6 October). Pretty was shipped into a hotel room where she was stuck alone, ordering room service.

While she was spotted by a fan (a waiter at the hotel), Lehasa was busy being forced into marrying Khwezi instead of the child.

Khwezi’s greedy uncle told the Maphosa family over the phone that Lehasa needs to marry Khwezi if he does not, who will? It is either that or he will never see his child and we all know how Lehasa acts when kids are mentioned. A softie of note.

KHWEZI’S MOM IN TOWN

The demanding baby mama has made it clear that she does not want her mother present for any of the important events in her life and guess what, mom knows best because she showed up. Uninvited and unexpected. Ready to serve it to her daughter.

Viewers are convinced she is the only one who knows how manipulative Khwezi can be and as such, it is happiness all round.

A tweep said Khwezi needs to invest more time in fixing her relationship with her mother instead of being hell bent to break up Prehasa.
