Marvel has released a second trailer for the highly-anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film. The film, directed by Ryan Coogler, will see the people of Wakanda mourning the death of King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman).

Chadwick Boseman, passed away in August 2020 following a private battle with colon cancer. He was 44 years old at the time of his death.

MARVEL RELEASES NEW ‘BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER’ TRAILER 

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of the most-anticipated films of 2022. As per Marvel, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (a group of female warriors) fight to protect Wakanda following T’Challa’s tragic death. 

The second trailer for the film was officially released on Monday 3 October and also teases who the next Black Panther will be. 

Following its release, the film’s second trailer has scored just over two million views in over an hour. 

The film is set to be released on 11 November.

‘THIS LOOKS INCREDIBLE’: TWEEPS REACT TO NEW TRAILER 

The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer received positive reviews on Twitter from Marvel fans. Tweeps praised Ryan Coogler’s creative direction ahead of the upcoming film. 

“Wow. I’m an emotional wreck. This looks incredible,” wrote one tweep.

“OMG the costume design, the production design, the cinematography and Shuri! All of this,” wrote one tweep.  

“I’m crying rn. This looks so damn good man. Ryan Coogler does not miss!!!”

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE NEW FILM 

Ryan Coogler unveiled the first Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con in July. At the time, he reflected on losing Chadwick Boseman and gave fans a sneak peek on what to expect in the upcoming film. 

“It goes to new places in Wakanda that we haven’t seen before and it goes to new places in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” said Coogler.
