Every metre of the Motorsport Industry Association’s (MIA) upcoming Motorsport Engineering & Technology Show has been sold, guaranteeing that on October 19/20 two complete halls of Silverstone’s 12,500 sq ft Wing will be teaming with leading representatives of the motorsport, aerospace, marine, defence and automotive industries. There will be an astonishing array of technology for delegates to feast upon, not least such mould-breaking high-performance vehicles as Lotus’s Emira GT4, Viritech’s 1000bhp hydrogen-fuelled Apricale hypercar, and the 1180bhp all-electric Ariel Hipercar being displayed by Cosworth.

This milestone event will showcase the world-leading capabilities of the UK’s motorsport and performance engineering industry, and commenting on the show platinum partner McLaren Applied said: “CTS2022 will facilitate discussion and learning from others with exciting and disruptive concepts. We are open to new collaborative partnerships with innovative companies and look forward to discussing and exploring new relationships.”

Added the Motorsport Industry Association’s CEO Chris Aylett: “Even the most successful high-tech companies can struggle to find new suppliers of the right calibre. By bringing together representatives of so many cutting edge businesses from a raft of complementary industries we are confident of adding fresh impetus to the process.”
