The body was found in a decomposed state in an abandoned house near the Sea View Flats in Hangberg.

Pursuing all leads
The South African Police Service (SAPS) said officers attached to the Hout Bay police station are leading the investigation and pursuing all available leads.
“At this stage, the identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed. The circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation,” police said.
No arrests have been made, and investigators have not publicly disclosed a possible motive.
