NOTICE: R524 534 Daily Lotto jackpot still unclaimed, won via FNB app

ITHUBA, operators of the South African national lottery, are on the hunt for a Daily Lotto winner who has yet to claim a R524 534 jackpot.

The winning ticket was bought using the FNB banking app on 27 June 2025.

Nearly a year later, the lucky punter still has not come forward.

What you need to know

  • Prize: R524 534
  • Game: Daily Lotto
  • Date won: 27 June 2025
  • How it was bought: FNB banking app
  • Expiry date: 27 June 2026

Check your FNB app

This one is a little different.

There is no dorpie or province to point at, because the ticket was bought online through the FNB banking app.

So if you have ever played the Daily Lotto through your FNB app, get on there and check your history.

Yes, even if you reckon you would have noticed half a bar landing in your account.

ITHUBA has confirmed the prize will expire exactly one year after the draw.

After 27 June 2026, the money will be transferred to the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF), where they are reallocated to support “good causes,” charitable initiatives, and community projects throughout South Africa.

Halala in advance

If it turns out to be you, halala.

That is more than enough for a proper braai, a holiday, and still plenty left to put away.

But you have to actually claim it first.

Open the app, scroll back to 27 June 2025, and check your numbers.

Spread the word

Know someone who plays the Daily Lotto through their FNB app? Give them a poke. A mate, a colleague, your sister, your boet.

It could be them sitting on R524 534 without a clue.

How to claim

Lottery winners can claim prizes through any participating retailer, post office, or by contacting the National Lottery directly on 0800 484 822.

Larger prizes (typically over R250 000) need to be claimed at an ITHUBA office with the original ticket details, a valid ID and proof of banking details.
