Phakamani Mahlambi STOPS training with PSL side – report

Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Phakamani Mahlambi has reportedly stopped training with SuperSport United who had him under assessment since July.

Mahlambi, who was promoted by Gavin Hunt at the now defunct Bidvest Wits in 2015, was earmarked as a South African future star.

At 25 he’s now supposed to be at his peak, but is having more downs than ups.

Following the end of his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns in June, Mahlambi started training with Matsatsantsa, but according to reports, he’s no longer doing so.

It’s not clear whether the Swanky Boys will still recall the former Al Ahly forward or if he has failed to impress the technical team.
