PowerBall: R19m winner from Helibron wants to remain anonymous
The winner from the small farming town Helibron in Free State won Tuesday’s PowerBall jackpot. Another player won R6.4m in the LOTTO PLUS 2 draw on Wednesday.
Two lottery game players struck the jackpot this week – in the PowerBall draw on Tuesday, 13 September and the LOTTO PLUS 2 draw a day later.
POWERBALL WINNER IN FREE STATE
The national lottery operator, Ithuba, said the PowerBall winner who walked away with a whopping R19 130 785,60 stepped forward to claim his winnings. The man from the small farming town Helibron requested to remain strictly anonymous.

Another player, who used the FNB banking app, bagged R6 463 946,30 in the LOTTO PLUS 2 draw on Wednesday, 15 September.
“We congratulate the latest jackpot winners across all our National Lottery games. Although the winning tickets may be valid for 365 days, it is highly recommended that players process their winnings as soon as possible,” said Ithuba CEO, Charmaine Mabuza.
Mabuza said there was a PowerBall PLUS ticket worth R7 547 4868 somewhere in Cape Town that will expire soon if it is not claimed.
The ticket was bought at Ravensmead Supermarket in Cape Town and the draw was played on 3 December 2021.
