Could Saleng return to the pitch against Marumo Gallants? The Orlando Pirates attacker was seen at training on Saturday.
Orlando Pirates attacker Monnapule Saleng was spotted in training ahead of Sunday’s Nedbank Cup match against Marumo Gallants.
Pirates will welcome Gallants in the semifinals of the Nedbank Cup at Orlando Stadium.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
SALENG SPOTTED TRAINING WITH ORLANDO PIRATES
Now, on Saturday, Pirates shared pictures of their players hard at work on social media ahead of Sunday’s encounter.
And Saleng’s picture was also shared, much to the delight of the majority of Pirates fans on social media.
Saleng has not featured for the Buccaneers since December 2024 against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League.
Issues around his contract and future at the club have led to Saleng being frozen out altogether by Pirates.
However, his return to training has given his fans a glimmer of hope that he will return to the pitch in the near future.
