Sania Mirza was named Dubai Sports Council sports ambassador on Wednesday, a huge achievement. Dubai Sports Council, created in 2005, is the UAE capital’s official sports development authority.
The council oversees Dubai’s seven municipal sports clubs and promotes physical activity, especially among women and children. The 37-year-old star informed fans on Instagram. Sports stars like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Harbhajan Singh attended. Her Instagram fans congratulated the star player on her achievement.
