As the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the tournament schedule, Pakistan and India were again grouped together for the inaugural Under-19 Women’s Asia Cup. Malaysia will host the competition from December 15 to 22 with six teams competing.

December 15 is the opening day match between Pakistan and India’s U-19 girls. On December 16, Pakistan will play Nepal in their second group encounter.
The top two teams from each group advance to the December 19–20 Super Four. Teams face the top two qualifiers from the opposing group in this phase.
The Super Four’s top two teams will compete for the championship on December 22.
Pakistan and India have been in the same cricket tournament group before. These two South Asian neighbours often play together in International Cricket Council and ACC competitions, emphasising the rivalry at every level.
