BREAKING | Petrol price cut confirmed, but diesel hiked: Here’s how much you’ll pay

The price of 95 unleaded petrol will be lowered by R1.02 a litre at midnight on Tuesday, 4 October, the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy announced on Monday.

Meanwhile, 93 petrol will be 89 cents cheaper.

However, in some bad news for diesel car owners, prices will be hiked by between 10-15 cents a litre.

The price of illuminating paraffin will fall by 61 cents a litre.
