Chiefs: Are Dove and Bimenyimana available?

It's time for Kaizer Chiefs to deliver DStv Premiership action - with question marks over Dove Emdilson and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.

Chiefs: Are Dove and Bimenyimana available?

Arthur Zwane’s Kaizer Chiefs are hosting AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium on Saturday evening, and there’s uncertainly over the availability of new internationals Dove Edmilson and Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana.

A reliable source claimed the duo has acquired their work permits before Zwane said otherwise. Is the coach just keeping his cards close to his chest?

KAIZER CHIEFS VS AMAZULU: REPORTS SAYS DOVE AND BIMENYIMANA ARE AVAILABLE

As The South African website reported in the week, the Mozambican and Burudian are thought to have received their work permits from the Department of Home Affairs.

“SABC Sport understands the foreign duo of Mozambican international defender Edmilson Dove and Burundian international striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana have received their long-awaited work permits,” the report said.

Coach Zwane says something else…

ZWANE SAYS OTHERWISE

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the coach known as ‘10111’ said Amakhosi were still waiting for the documents on Thursday 1 September.

“The work permits, we’re still waiting on,” Zwane said without further elaboration as quoted by iDiskiTimes.

It’s now Saturday, did the documents perhaps become available on Friday or were they available while Thursday but Zwane needed to keep Usuthu guessing?

We shall find out when the team news get revealed around 16:00.
