The Kaizer Chiefs icon Itumeleng Khune has owned the Amakhosi gloves again. How many clean sheets has he earned?
Kaizer Chiefs’ greatest legends like Doctor Khumalo and Neil Tovey will sooner or later get surpassed by Itumeleng Khune. Just when it looked all over, the finest local goalkeeping talent bounced back.

ITUMELENG KHUNE RETURNS TO THE KAIZER CHIEFS GOAL
Coach Arthur Zwane’s surprised us all on 28 August at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.
The 35-year-old from Ventersdorp, first nicknamed ‘Spider Kid’ before he later apply called ‘Mzansi’s number 1’ was handed a start in the MTN8 quarter-finals.
The Kaizer Chiefs superstar delivered a dream return by saving two penalty kicks that sent the Glamour Boys to the semi-finals.

HOW MANY CLEAN SHEETS SINCE?
With five appearances, three in the DStv Premiership and two in the MTN8, Khune has earned one clean sheet while conceding four goals.
The clean sheet came on 3 September’s 0-0 draw with AmaZulu during a PSL at Soccer City.

Meanwhile, Khune is expected to start as Kaizer Chiefs visit Stellenbosch FC on Sunday at 15:30.
