MARUMO GALLANTS TAKE KAIZER CHIEFS TO ROYAL BAFOKENG

As reported in the past week, the Limpopo-based club took a decision to move their game against Kaizer Chiefs to the North West rather than their regular base in Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba.

The decision quickly inspired the Polokwane Municipality to interdict the event before kick-off Sunday.

COURT MAKES QUICK DECISION

Following the charge, a Limpopo magistrate has dissolved the Municipality’s attempt to stop the game from taking place in Rustenburg.

“Limpopo High Court Judge Gerrit Muller has dismissed the urgent application by Polokwane Municipality to interdict the #DStvPrem fixture between Marumo Gallants and Kaizer Chiefs,” the leading local outlet FARPost confirmed.

“The match goes ahead at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday,” the report concluded.
