IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS

A. Yellow level 4 warning: Disruptive rain leading to flooding of roads and settlements, damage to infrastructure and displacement of affected communities are expected over most parts of Mpumalanga, most parts of Limpopo except in the north and Lowveld areas.

B. Yellow level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms leading to strong damaging winds, large amounts of small hail, and heavy downpours which will result in possible flooding and damage to infrastructure are expected over the western parts of KwaZulu Natal, northern and eastern parts of Eastern Cape, western and central parts of Northern Cape as well as the western parts of Free State and North West.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the western parts of the country.

ADVISORIES

Extremely uncomfortable conditions are expected in places over the Central and Little Karoo and the West Coast District Municipalities in the Western Cape as well as the Khai-Ma and Kamiesberg Local Municipalities in the Northern Cape and over the north- eastern parts of KwaZulu Natal.
