End of the road for these TWO Kaizer Chiefs players?

Kaizer Chiefs are set to offload several players this coming season according to Amakhosi legend Doctor Khumalo.

The Soweto giants have had their pre-season training in Turkey for over three weeks under the new coach Nasreddine Nabi. The Tunisian mentor and his technical team have for the first time had time to assess players

Khumalo has revealed that the club plans to loan out six players ahead of the new DStv Premiership season. Out of the six players, two are currently nursing injuries, according to the Kaizer Chiefs legend

“The information that I got from the new technical team, they really want to work with youth,” Khumalo on SABC Soccerzone

“And also, I’ve seen the names of the players that they’ve asked them [management] to loan them, six of them – the players it’s not my duty to mention them here – but six of the players the coach asked if they can loan them out.

Kaizer Chiefs and Nabi to decide the fate of six players?

“Two of them are nursing injuries at the moment. They didn’t travel to Turkey, because they’re injured,” Khumalo added.

“What I know is that Kaizer Chiefs’ move to secure these coaches, I can see a lot of difference. I can tell, these boys, now they are being challenged.”

Kaizer Chiefs currently have six players out injured with Bongani Sam and Edmilson Dove being the latest to be sidelined. Khumalo mentioned two of the players set to be released by Amakhosi are currently injured which could only point out to Sam, Dove, Tebogo Potsane, Dillan Solomons, George Matlou and Mduduzi Mdantsane.

Edmilson Dove and Bongani Sam were injured during pre-season training in Turkey so they are exempt. Matlou and Mdantsane are more likely to be loaned out come the start of the season. Kaizer Chiefs have so many midfield players at the moment and it’s hard to see why Matou and Mdantsane would feature in the team.

Who do you think are the six Chiefs stars to be released or loaned?
