Vivian Jenna Wilson, the daughter of South African-born billionaire Elon Musk has responds to his comment that she was “killed” by the “woke mind virus.”
VIVIAN JENNA WILSON ON HER FATHER’S COMMENTS ON HER GENDER IDENTITY
20-year-old Vivian Jenna Wilson, formerly Musk, has responded to her father, Elon Musk’s comment that she was “killed” by the “woke mind virus,” for coming out as transgender and undergoing gender-affirming care.
“I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged. Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide,” she said to NBC News.
Musk shares Vivian with ex-wife Justine Wilson. Vivian was born as Xavier and has a twin brother named Griffin. After turning 18, Vivian changed her gender, name and took on her mom’s maiden surname. Back in 2022, TMZ reported Vivian listed the reason for her name change as “gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father [Elon] in any way, shape or form.”
Vivian went on to express that she is an adult and her life should be defined by her own choices.
“I would like to emphasize one thing: I am an adult, I am 20 years old, I am not a child. My life should be defined by my own choices,” she added.

This comes after Musk claimed that Vivian was “killed” in his eyes by “the woke mind virus”. This was by seeking gender-affirming care after coming out as transgender, he expressed in an interview with Daily Wire.
“I was essentially tricked into signing documents,” he said in an interview.
“This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on, and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion,” he continued.
Musk claimed that he only agreed to sign the papers that gave Vivian permission to undergo gender-affirming care because he was told she “might commit suicide” if he didn’t. He claims that he was “tricked” into signing the documents and he essentially “lost his son.”
“I was tricked into doing this… I lost my son, essentially,” he added.
