FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
1.Extremely high fire danger conditions expected over Limpopo Valley and Western Bushveld of Limpopo, extreme east and western half of North-West, western half of Free State, Northern Cape except the extreme south-east and extreme north-west.
ADVISORIES:
1.A heat wave with persistently high temperature expected in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga and Limpopo from Wednesday (12th October 2022) until Friday(14th October 2022).

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but hot in the north.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east in the morning with morning fog patches along the escarpment and eastern Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the Highveld from the afternoon.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers over the extreme south-east.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and hot to very hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south-east, otherwise fine and warm but cool in the north-west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot to very hot in the northern parts of the West-Coast District, with isolated thundershowers over the Central Karoo by the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to easterly but strong to near gale between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas in the morning, becoming fresh to strong north-westerly north of Lambert’s Bay by the evening.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half –Cloudy in places in the north in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool along the coast. It will become cloudy in the afternoon with isolated thundershowers, but scattered in the north.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly, becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy in the north at first, otherwise cloudy and warm, with isolated thundershowers, but scattered in the north.
The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Cloudy in the north-east at first with a chance of light rain, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool in the south. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are excepted in the west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly to southerly, becoming north-easterly in the south by mid-morning, spreading to Sodwana bay in the evening.
