Jose Riveiro and Orlando Pirates have now signed SIX new players ahead of the 2024/25 PSL season.

Orlando Pirates have just completed their SIXTH signing ahead of the 2024/25 PSL season.

Meanwhile, another player has been spotted training with the Bucs first team.

Pirates unveiled “Gilberto”, as their first official signing of the season.

However, several signings have been confirmed since then. In fact, all of the players on this list played with the Soweto Giants during their pre-season tour of Europe. Interestingly, Rasebotja confirmed move to Pirates.

“I was really excited when I found out that Pirates was interested in me,” he told Pirates media team.

“Every footballer’s dream is to play for a big club. For an institution like Orlando Pirates to enquire about my services is a big career move, and I looked forward to it with enthusiasm and excitement. “So yeah, I’m really excited to join a big club like Orlando Pirates,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mbatha has also joined the Bucs, as reported on The South African. Meaning, Pirates have signed THREE players from PSL rivals and abroad.

Furthermore, the Bucs have promoted THREE players into the first team.

SEVENTH SIGNING ON THE HORIZON AS BUCS SAIL HOME

Pirates are set to make a SEVENTH signing.

Firstly, this man trained with the Bucs but he has not been unveiled as a new signing yet. Meaning, he is unlikely to earn promotion given the talent available in his position. Pirates have Sipho Chaine, Melusi Buthelezi and Dladla.

Therefore, they are likely to sign one more keeper with Zulu set to return to the DDC squad. Additionally, Pirates are linked with several Bafana Bafana, Chiefs and Sundowns targets.
