Too little! Kaizer Chiefs prepared to make a R15 million bid for top target?

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly looking to make an R15 million bid for Tanzanian star Feisal Salum.

The 26-year-old midfielder is highly rated and finished second top goal-scorer in Tanzania last season with 19 goals. Salum has worked with Amakhosi’s coach Nasreddine Nabi, together with assistant coach Cedric Kazi.

According to Soccer Laduma Kaizer Chiefs are prepared to pay R15 million for Salum but that might not be enough

“The club has taken the proposal by assistant coach Cedric Kaze very seriously concerning the need to sign Tanzanian midfielder Feisal Salum from Azam FC and that is why they have made an offer,” an insider told the publication.

Azam reportedly wanted R30 million to release their most valuable player back in August. An inside speaking to Laduma however said that was not the case.

“It’s not in the region of around R30 million that the club asked for the player when Sundowns inquired about him but it’s a good offer from Chiefs who have a tight budget at the moment. It will all depend on the other conditions and clauses in the proposal which could motivate Azam to consider what Chiefs have put on the table,” the inside said.

Depending on other factors, Kaizer Chiefs could be made to pay more than R15 million for the Tanzanian international. The club are still looking to bring a striker to their team during the transfer window in January.
