Despite being served with a letter demanding an apology or a fine of half a million Rand, TikToker Maryke Erasmus has continued her wild claims that Gayton McKenzie is “hiding” missing Joslin Smith in one of his Cape Town homes.

The brazen woman was recently slapped with a lawsuit from the now Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture.

In several TikTok clips, Maryke claims Gayton is a member of the secret service Illuminati, who ordered him to “kidnap” the Saldanha Bay girl.

Little Joslin disappeared from her Middelpos informal settlement home in the community of Diazville on 19 February.

The Patriotic Alliance leader has been active in the search for the six-year-old, whose mother, Kelly Smith, partner Jacquin Appollis, and two accomplices have since been charged with human trafficking and kidnapping.

GAYTON MCKENZIE’S LAWSUIT AGAINST BRAZEN TIKTOKER

According to Gayton McKenzie, his lawyers had served Maryke Erasmus with a letter of demand, urging her to retract and apologise over her “defamatory statements” that he “kidnapped” Joslin Smith.

If she fails to do this, she will be required to pay R500 000, plus his legal fees.

In the video posted last month, Maryke says: “Joslin’s disappearance has to do with Gayton McKenzie. He planned to steal her.”

Maryke alleged that the PA leader kidnapped Joslin to make him appear as a “hero” to the public. She also claimed that Gayton has links to the secret service called the “Illuminati,” who ordered him to carry out the kidnapping.

The woman claims that God made the “revelation” to her.

Gayton, responding the claims, said in a Facebook Live, “She will get her court papers.

“When you make serious allegations against people – there are 34 of them, and my lawyers [dealt with them] meticulously”.

MARYKE CLAIMS JOSLIN SMITH IS ALIVE AND LIVING IN MINISTER’S HOME

However, it seems that Gayton McKenzie’s legal warning has not deterred Maryk Erasmus.

In her latest TikTok video,  the Laingsburg woman claimed that Gayton was allegedly harbouring Joslin Smith in one of his houses in the community of Kraaifontein.

Maryke claims that she had approached police to search the house, which she claims allegedly belonged to the minister.

She added: “This was what God revealed to me. She is there in that house. I believe it”.

Maryke has refused to apologise or retract her statements.
